As a first-time site, North Carolina’s Southern Outer Banks will serve as one of the settings for the Feast of Tabernacles 2024. Services and events will be held at the meeting facility at the Crystal Coast Civic Center in Morehead City.

This picturesque site is situated on the coast of the Atlantic Ocean and offers beautiful sandy beaches, state parks and nature reserves—a wonderful backdrop to highlight some of the natural handiwork of our Creator God.

The community has a long maritime history, showcasing all sorts of outdoor activity opportunities. Temperatures in October can range from the mid-50s to mid-70s. Feel free to visit the community’s website to further research the area.

Activities: To focus on the primary goal of spiritual growth in the family of God, Bible studies and seminars for all ages will be planned in these eight days we keep the Feast together, in addition to the daily messages at services. Scheduled activities, which will emphasize family time and fellowship within the body of Christ, will be posted as the much-anticipated fall Holy Days draw closer.

In addition to planned activities, this location offers ample opportunities for family attractions to suit any interest. Outdoor activities include fishing charters, boat tours, kayaking, paddle boarding, parasailing, golfing and Blackbeard’s recovered pirate ship. There are also several parks and nature reserves nearby for hiking and wildlife viewing. Cultural attractions include the North Carolina Maritime Museum, which showcases the region’s maritime history, Fort Mason State Park and North Carolina Aquarium at Pine Knol Shores.
